In Memory of William (Bill) Cuthbert
William (Bill) Cuthbert, FSA, FCIA, passed away on Jan. 31, 2008 at the age of 63. Cuthbert came to Canada with his family in 1954 and settled in Vancouver, British Columbia. He moved to London, Ontario, where he began his career as an actuary. Cuthbert lived in London for 25 years and was vice president, pensions at London Life. In 1991, he and his family moved to Calgary, Alberta, where he became a managing consultant for Watson Wyatt until his retirement in 2002. During his retirement, Cuthbert enjoyed golfing, travelling with his wife Pat and spending time at their cabin in Windermere, British Columbia with his family.
Cuthbert is survived by his loving wife Pat; two sons Sean (Susan) and Scott (Robin); daughter Laura (Warren); and grandchildren Erik and Paige.
