In Memory of John H. Taylor

John H. Taylor, FIA, FIAA, ASA, ANZIIF, MAICD, died in Sydney, Australia on July 24, 2005 at the age of 74. Taylor retired as New South Wales Government Actuary in 1996. He was previously with the Hospitals Contribution Fund and earlier with the Commonwealth Government Actuary and Insurance Commissioner. He began his career and studies while with the AMP Society. Taylor was a Rotarian, a Diocesan Reader in the Anglican Church and was active in prostate cancer support. He is survived by his wife, Josephine, two daughters, Georgina and Alice, and a granddaughter, Helen, born in NJ this year.
