Francis is the consulting principal and founder of Francis Analytics and Actuarial Data Mining Inc., where she specializes in predictive modeling actuarial projects. She pioneered the application of predictive modeling technologies such as neural networks and decision trees to insurance data to identify patterns used for mitigating claims costs and making underwriting decisions. Francis is the author of several articles and papers on predictive mining.

Scott currently works in analytics development, where he focuses on the implementation of statistical algorithms within the Statistica software package.
