Younger Actuaries Network–Operation Agreement

The Committee Group is responsible for setting a direction for the members of Younger Actuarial Network (YAN). They are also responsible for managing and directing the activities of the YAN.

Chair

1. Ensure the YAN to stay on track with their goals and members' expectation
2. Provide committee members assistance and advice to complete their tasks on time
3. Assist committee members to develop leadership, team building and other soft skills
4. Submit event approval request to Actuary of the Future (AOF) for approval

Communication Vice Chair

1. Develop Mentoring Program
2. Ensure the YAN to compile enough quality articles for the newsletter of the AOF
3. Create a survey to solicit feedback after each event
4. Share the survey results with the members

Continuing Education Vice Chair

1. Develop educational seminars and/or webcast
2. Solicit ideas for topics and speakers from the members
3. Set up and maintain an information database for potential topics, speakers and venues

Membership Vice Chair

1. Develop networking opportunities
2. Establish member discussion forum
3. Develop membership campaign

Secretary

1. Write up meeting notes and submit them to the committee group for approval
2. Assist to help other initiatives as needed

Treasurer

1. Maintain the financial statement up–to–date
2. Review and approve budget for each event
3. Assist to help other initiatives as needed
