Risk Implications of Unemployment and Under-Employment

The Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), Canadian Institute of Actuaries (CIA), and the Society of Actuaries' (SOA) Joint Risk Management Section is pleased to make available a report that studies the impact of unemployment and underemployment on insurance products. It introduces the concepts, theoretical background, and patterns of unemployment and underemployment and how actuaries can incorporate this factor into models. The report was authored by Kailan Shang.
