Description: Panel member briefly review the collecting and analyzing of the data and the status of the disability valuation tables. They describe special characteristics of the proposed tables and compare the results with the CDT table and the most recent data published in the 1979 Reports of Mortality and Morbidity Experience.

Description: Presented at April 1985 Spring Meeting. This session discussed new disability tables being proposed to the NAIC for valuation. Discussion covered history of the development of the tables and Barnhart's proposal for a change in method for determining the statutory minimum LTD open claim reserves.
