SOA Education & Research Awards
SOA offers two awards for self-nomination: the SOA Actuarial Science Early Career Research Award that has been offered since 2021, and the inaugural SOA Outstanding Educator Award was offered in 2024. Each has unique eligibility requirements that are outlined on their respective webpages.
Early Career Research
The Early Career Research Award recognizes individuals for their exceptional scientific contributions in actuarial science at the early stages of their academic career.

Outstanding Educator
The Outstanding Educator Award aims to recognize the contribution of an influential educator in the field of actuarial science.
