**Guest Fee - One guest per registrant is allowed. A significant other, friend or family member of the attendee who is over the age of 18 is considered a guest (or non-business affiliate). Members of an actuarial organization and recruiters are not considered guests and must register at the appropriate member or nonmember fee listed above.

Section(s)/Community Scholarship Program

At the Society of Actuaries (SOA), our goal is for all members to have equitable opportunities
to grow and succeed in our chosen profession. The Scholarship Program is designed to offset financial barriers to attend the SOA’s 2023 ImpACT Conference.

Scholarship Criteria:

• Received your ASA less than five years ago
• Member of one of the participating Sections/Community
• Not receiving employer support for your attendance at the meetings
• First-time attendee at ImpACT

Join us for the opening session to celebrate the volunteers, hear from 2022–2023 SOA President and Chair John Robinson on the advancements and successes of the SOA’s strategic plan, and experience an insightful thought leadership discussion. Join us for a panel discussion on AI risks and opportunities, from ethics to generative AI and more.

Join us for this complimentary lunch session for networking, a keynote presentation on diversity in the actuarial community, and highlighting the diversity initiatives of local Indianapolis insurance companies. SOA diversity affinity partners will be on hand to highlight the variety of activities going on to further diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives across the actuarial profession. Attendees will have an opportunity to further support the DEI research activities of the SOA and the SOA Research Institute.

The Quiet Room will be available during the conference and is intended as a quiet, calm space where attendees can spend time away from noise, lights, and other stimuli of the event spaces. This room is not available for conversations or meetings.

The SOA Cares program supports organizations and members that make a difference around the world, and we encourage all our members and candidates to join in our efforts.

During the conference we will be partnering with Pack Away Hunger, whose mission is to eliminate hunger in Indiana and around the world by providing nutritious food, hunger education, and service opportunities.
